Our mission
Visit Gauteng exists to make discovering and supporting Gauteng simple. Whether you are a tourist planning a trip, a delegate arriving for a conference, or a local looking for something new, everything you need is one tap away.
Five sections, one app
- Visit Gauteng: attractions, experiences, events and specials across the province.
- Business (GCCEB): business venue discovery and bid support for conferences and incentives.
- Live: a curated social feed of events, news, and what is happening in Gauteng.
- Marketplace: shop from local vendors, makers and craftspeople with secure checkout.
- More: tools and trip helpers including heritage trails, weather, transport, load-shedding, and safety.
Who runs it
Visit Gauteng is operated by the Gauteng Tourism Authority (GTA), the official destination marketing organisation for the Gauteng Province of South Africa. The technical platform is built and maintained by Mind Interactive (Pty) Ltd on behalf of the GTA.
