Delete Your Data

The fastest way to delete your account and personal data:

• Open the More menu.

• Tap Account.

• Tap Delete account at the bottom of the page.

• Confirm. We log the request and queue your data for removal.

Your account becomes inaccessible immediately. Personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days.

You may instead email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject 'Delete my data'. We reply with a confirmation code, complete the deletion, and notify you when done. We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity first.

• Your profile, name, email, phone, photo and password.

  • Your posts, comments, likes and messages.

  • Your saved itineraries, bookmarks and preferences.

  • Connected OAuth accounts (Google, Facebook) are unlinked.

Some information must be retained for legal or accounting reasons; we keep it only as long as the law requires and restrict access:

• Bookings and orders: retained 5 years (SA tax law); your name is replaced with 'Deleted user' in vendor records.

• Vendor payouts: payout history retained 5 years.

• Fraud and abuse records: retained as long as needed to protect the platform.

If you registered with Facebook Login, you can also request deletion through Facebook's data-deletion callback: Facebook Settings, Apps and Websites, find Visit Gauteng, choose Remove. We receive the request through Facebook and complete it within 30 days.
