Clap and Tap School Festival

The Clap and Tap School Festival brings local schools together at the Eldorado Arts Centre for a day of dance, rhythm and performance as part of the Vaal Carnival's family-oriented programming. Learners showcase choreographed routines and performances, giving the carnival a platform for youth talent alongside its adult-focused comedy, music and sport events.

Running the same day as Shorts, Shades and Sneakers at Caravan Park, it gives families in the Vaal Triangle a daytime, school-friendly option before the evening's more adult-oriented activities. The Eldorado Arts Centre's established role as a community arts venue makes it a natural home for a schools festival.
