Nostalgia Pride Picnic

The Nostalgia Pride Picnic brings Pride back to its grassroots on 31 October 2026. Inspired by the 1990s gatherings that started with a march and ended with a shared picnic at Zoo Lake, this community-led day puts inclusion, accessibility and collective joy ahead of commercial sponsorship.

Pack a picnic basket, camp chairs, a garden umbrella and your besties and settle in on the lawns at the Women's Jail, Constitution Hill, from 11am to 6pm. Entry is free with a Quicket ticket and vendors will be selling on the day. No glass is allowed, so bring plastic bottles, cans and containers, and expect bag checks at the entrance.
