📍 Get directions →The Gauteng Film Commission (GFC) invites Gauteng-based filmmakers and organisations to apply for funding to host provincial local film festivals and awards. Up to R100,000 is available per qualifying Gauteng-based festival. Applications close on 13 August 2026 at 23:59. Submit a business plan, project implementation plan, proof of screened films' rights and the required compliance documents via the GFC grant platform.
