Che Argentine Grill

Che Argentine Grill grew from an empanada stall at Johannesburg's food markets into a full Argentine grill house, one of only two South African restaurants endorsed by the Argentinian Embassy. Now settled on Jan Smuts Avenue in Parkwood, a short hop from Rosebank, it centres on a wood-fired parrilla turning out thick, properly charred Argentine-style steaks, house chimichurri, blistered empanadas and Malbec-friendly sharing plates.

Service is relaxed and the mood convivial, a strong choice for a leisurely carnivorous dinner near the 702 Jozi My Jozi Walk the Talk route.
