Neighbourgoods Market

Every Saturday the Neighbourgoods Market transforms a Braamfontein warehouse into one of Johannesburg's liveliest food-and-drink destinations. Two floors of artisanal traders serve everything from freshly shucked oysters and gourmet burgers to craft beer, wine and specialty coffee, topped by a buzzing rooftop bar with city views.

Launched in 2011, it helped spark Braamfontein's revival and remains a fixture of the district's youthful weekend scene, close to Constitution Hill and the CBD on the 702 Jozi My Jozi Walk the Talk route. It runs Saturdays only, so time your visit accordingly.
