Sci-Bono Discovery Centre

Housed in the repurposed old Electric Workshop in Newtown's cultural precinct, Sci-Bono Discovery Centre is Southern Africa's largest science centre and a firm family favourite. Its cavernous hall is packed with hundreds of hands-on, interactive exhibits spanning maths, engineering, energy, the human body and technology, all designed to make learning tactile and fun.

Rotating exhibitions and holiday activities keep it fresh, and it sits beside the Market Theatre on the 702 Jozi My Jozi Walk the Talk route, an ideal weather-proof stop for families.
