Accessibility

The Gauteng Tourism Authority wants Visit Gauteng to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we keep improving the Platform towards that goal.

• Design for keyboard navigation and screen-reader compatibility.

  • Use sufficient colour contrast and text that can be enlarged.

  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images where practical.

  • Check accessibility when we release new features.

Some content supplied by others, such as vendor photos, user posts and embedded media, may not yet be fully accessible. We work with contributors to improve this over time.
