Notice & Takedown Policy
How to report unlawful content and how we respond (ECT Act section 77).

Purpose
This policy lets rights-holders and the public notify us of unlawful content (including infringing listings or posts) so we can act expeditiously. It supports the limitation of liability for service providers under Chapter XI of the ECT Act.
Designated agent
The designated agent for takedown notices under section 77 of the ECT Act is the operator:

Membership of a recognised industry representative body (e.g. ISPA) is being considered to strengthen the statutory protection.
How to submit a takedown notice
A valid notice under section 77 of the ECT Act must be in writing and include: your full names and address; a signature (electronic is acceptable); identification of the content and its location (URL); the right infringed; the remedial action required; your contact details; a statement that you act in good faith; and a statement that the information is true to your knowledge.
What we do on receipt
On a valid notice we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the identified content. We are not obliged to make legal judgments and may remove pending resolution. We may notify the user who posted the content and give them an opportunity to respond, where appropriate.
Counter-notice and reinstatement
If your content was removed and you believe it was lawful, you may submit a counter-notice with your details and reasons. We will consider it and may reinstate content where appropriate.
Repeat infringers
We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly post infringing or unlawful content.
