Effective: to be confirmed on approval
Interim version. This document reflects current commercial decisions and is published in good faith for transparency. It is not yet final. Final terms will be confirmed after sign-off by South African counsel and the Gauteng Tourism Authority. If you have legal queries in the meantime, contact [email protected].
Spirit of the community
The Live feed celebrates Gauteng, its events, places and people. Post things that are useful, accurate and respectful. These Guidelines form part of the Terms of Service; breaking them can lead to content removal or account suspension.

-
Hate speech or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or other protected grounds.
-
Harassment, bullying, threats or doxxing (posting others' private information).

Your content and licence
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant the GTA a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and share it within Visit Gauteng and platform marketing, and you warrant that you own it or are entitled to post it and that it does not breach these Guidelines.
Reporting and moderation
Use the report control on any post or message. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts. Curated and pinned content is selected by the GTA and held to a higher editorial standard. We act on valid takedown notices under the Notice & Takedown Policy.
Privacy of others
Do not post other people's personal information without their consent. If you are featured in content and want it removed, contact us and we will act in line with POPIA.
Consequences
Depending on severity we may remove content, issue a warning, restrict posting, or suspend/terminate the account, and report unlawful content to the authorities.
