Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy
What may not be listed or sold in the Marketplace.

Interim version. This document reflects current commercial decisions and is published in good faith for transparency. It is not yet final. Purpose
This policy protects buyers, vendors and the platform and keeps the Marketplace lawful. Vendors must not list, and buyers must not order, the items below. Breach may result in listing removal, account suspension and reporting to authorities.
Prohibited items (never allowed)

Illegal goods of any kind, and stolen property.

Counterfeit, replica or infringing goods (Counterfeit Goods Act; trade-mark and copyright infringement).

Weapons, ammunition, explosives and related controlled items.

Drugs, narcotics and related paraphernalia.

Protected wildlife, ivory, rhino horn and CITES-restricted species products.

Human remains, body parts and unsafe/recalled products.

Hazardous, toxic or radioactive materials prohibited for general sale.

Sexual content involving minors, and any content unlawful under South African law.

Restricted items (allowed only with compliance)

Alcohol and tobacco: only where the vendor holds the required licence and age-verification is enforced.

Medicines, supplements and medical devices: only where lawfully registered and permitted for sale.

Food and perishables: only with appropriate health/safety compliance and labelling.

Cosmetics and chemicals: only where compliant with labelling and safety rules.

Cultural and heritage items: only with any required permits.

Electronics: must meet applicable safety/ICASA-type requirements.

Vendor responsibility
Vendors warrant that everything they list is lawful, authentic, safe and that they hold any required licences or permits. Vendors indemnify the GTA and Mind Interactive against claims arising from prohibited or non-compliant listings (see the Vendor Agreement).
Enforcement and reporting
We may remove any listing and suspend any account that breaches this policy, without notice where necessary, and may report unlawful items to the authorities. Report a suspect listing using the report control or email [email protected].
